In-Depth Review
Rooms and decor
The lobby sets the tone — palm trees, a fountain and a classic seaside-resort feel, with staff handing out cold fruit juice at check-in. Kids were already running around as we arrived, which tells you exactly what kind of place this is. The Deluxe Garden View runs NT$6,300 (about $200 a night): a roomy space in warm wood tones and tropical-print fabrics, with a big, comfortable bed.
The bathroom is clean with strong hot water, and the balcony looks out over the palm garden and the pool. The buildings are older than some of the newer resorts in Kenting and a few details show it, but everything is well maintained, clean and carries the warm feel of a beach resort that has been running a long time. The kids in our group loved that they could open the door and walk straight out to the garden and pool.
Food and amenities
The real draw here is the facilities. There is a water park, several pools, and a private beach with water activities like kayaks and sailboats — enough to keep children busy from morning to evening. Breakfast is an international buffet with a decent spread.
For dinner, reviews point you across the road to the night market because it is better value and more fun. The resort also has a spa, a fitness room and a kids' club, which gives parents a chance to actually rest for a bit.
Location and getting there
The location is the standout — beach on one side, Kenting Main Street directly opposite on the other. It is about a 2-minute walk across the road to the night market that comes alive every evening, whether you want to eat, shop or rent a scooter.
If you are coming from Kaohsiung, the Kenting Express bus stops very close to the resort, so it is only a short walk with your bags. That makes this one of the most practical bases in Kenting for travelers without a car.
Things to know before booking
The buildings are older than the newer resorts in town, so set your expectations there — it is clean and well kept rather than brand new. On long weekends and public holidays it gets very busy, and the pools and water park fill up fast, so swim in the morning if you can. Meals inside the resort run on the pricier side, which is why the night market across the road wins for dinner.
Our take
Caesar Park Hotel Kenting is the most well-rounded family resort in Kenting, with a guest score of 8.9/10 — a private beach, a water park, kids' activities, and a location right across from the market. If you are visiting Kenting with the family and want the kids to play all day without traveling far, this is one of the first places to look.
