Location and getting there

You're on Dominions Arcade in the centre of Cardiff, right by Queen Street, the city's main shopping run. For trains, Cardiff Queen Street station is a 5-minute walk and Cardiff Central is about 10 minutes. If your plan is to walk to the main sights, this is a strong base.

Things to know before booking

There's no pool and no spa here, so don't come expecting a wellness setup. The gym is small, clearly less than what Park Plaza or Hilton offer in the same central area. And because the hotel is fitted into a preserved heritage building, some rooms are on the small side, which is the usual trade-off for staying somewhere with this much character.
