The Jungmun resort area is roughly 20 to 25 minutes away. The one catch is the airport: Jeju International Airport is about 42 km off, a 55 to 60 minute drive, so budget for that transfer.

Things to know before booking

This is an older property, and some of the building and decor are starting to show their age compared with Jeju's newer resorts — manage your expectations on that front. You are in Seogwipo town rather than the polished Jungmun strip, which is the trade-off for the quieter mood and the lower price. And factor in that 55 to 60 minute drive from the airport when you plan your arrival. None of these are dealbreakers, but they are the honest reasons it costs less.
