In-Depth Review
Rooms and decor
Every room runs at least 36 sqm, done in a Resort Modern style with a King-size bed and a private balcony looking onto the garden or the sea. It reads like a tropical beach resort rather than a city hotel, which is the whole point of staying out here. Families in reviews call out how much the kids loved it — the water slide, the beach and the kids club all in one place. If you can, book a Sea View room: it faces Siloso Beach and its sunset.
Food and amenities
The big outdoor pool comes with a water slide, and the Buds Kids Club runs daily with a toy library and activities. There's a Chi Spa on a high floor for luxury wellness treatments and a full fitness centre. For food, Silver Shell Cafe does the breakfast buffet and runs a Kids Eat Free deal for under-12s, while Trapizza sits right on the beach serving pizza and pasta. The resort is SG Clean certified, with public areas sanitised regularly.
Location and getting there
The resort sits at the far end of Siloso Beach on Sentosa Island. The free Sentosa Express reaches Universal Studios Singapore in about 10 minutes, and S.E.A. Aquarium, Adventure Cove Waterpark, Madame Tussauds and Skyline Luge are all nearby. From central Singapore it's a 15-20 minute taxi or Grab, or the MRT to HarbourFront and the Sentosa Express from VivoCity, around 8 minutes, with a roughly $3 island entry fee. Changi Airport is about 25 km, a 30-minute drive.
Things to know before booking
The catch is the location: being out on Sentosa means you take the Sentosa Express or a taxi for every trip into the city, which adds time. Costs on the island run higher than on the mainland, so food, drinks and extras add up over a stay. And if you arrive via VivoCity, budget for the Sentosa Express plus the island entry fee on top of your room rate.
Our take
If you're travelling with kids and want the beach, this is the easy answer in Singapore. It's the only beach resort on Sentosa, the kids club and water slide do the heavy lifting, and Universal Studios is a 10-minute ride away. You trade quick access to the city centre for sand outside your door — for families, that's usually the right trade. It scores 8.8/10 and starts at $214 a night.
