In-Depth Review
Rooms and decor
The Vanda Hotel is a 19-storey tower with around 114 rooms and suites in total. The Deluxe City View on floor 15 runs about 28 sqm, done in a modern grey-and-black palette, with air-con, a 50-inch flat-screen TV, a minibar, a safe and a good-sized work desk. The glass-walled bathroom separates the shower from the toilet, and the window catches the Danang cityscape and the Han River at the same time. Rooms start at around $44 — roughly 1.15 million VND — a night, which is strong value for a central 4-star room of this size.
Food and amenities
Inside there's an indoor pool, a massage spa and a full gym, but the thing guests use most is the free bike service you can borrow all day. Reviewers suggest riding the Han River from the hotel out to Dragon Bridge, then looping on to Tien Son Bridge in the morning — properly refreshing. The rooftop bar on the top floor opens in the evening, and Trico Restaurant serves a buffet breakfast from 6:00 with both Asian and Western dishes. Real-guest scores on Trip.com sit at 9.2/10 from 400+ reviews, which says the service runs steady.
Location and getting there
Location is Vanda's whole pitch. It's a 5- to 8-minute walk to Dragon Bridge, Danang's landmark, and reviewers describe strolling over on a Saturday night to watch the dragon breathe fire at 21:00 up close, then walking back without fuss. Han Market is just 5 minutes on foot, and the Son Tra night market sits across the bridge. Danang Airport is only about 2 km away — the closest on this list of 10 — a 7-minute drive, which is ideal for a late flight or an early checkout.
Things to know before booking
This is a downtown base, not a beach one: My Khe Beach is about a 3 km ride away, so you won't step straight onto the sand. As a tall tower, the view depends on your floor and which direction you face, so it's worth asking for a high floor. And the pool is indoors rather than an outdoor sea-view one — fine for a quick swim, less so if poolside lounging by the water is the plan.
Our take
After three nights, our read is that the Vanda Hotel suits walk-everywhere travelers and business guests cycling in and out of the airport. Set against the riverside Brilliant — which leans on clear Han River and Dragon Bridge views — Vanda is the one that puts the city's landmarks a few minutes' walk from the lobby. For sightseers on foot, it spends little and saves a lot of time.

The Honest Verdict — pros & what to know
- A modern 4-star tower of 19 storeys, sitting right in the heart of downtown Danang on Nguyen Van Linh Street.
- Walkable to the landmarks that matter: a few minutes to Dragon Bridge and about 5 minutes to Han Market.
- Indoor pool, a massage spa and gym, and free bikes you can borrow all day to ride the riverfront.
- A rooftop bar on the top floor plus Trico Restaurant, which serves buffet breakfast from 6:00 alongside lunch and dinner.
- Only about 2 km from Danang Airport — the closest hotel on this list of 10 — with an airport transfer service for late arrivals.
- It's not a beachfront stay. My Khe Beach is about a 3 km ride away, so you'll cab or cycle over rather than step straight onto the sand.
- Being a tall tower, your view is a bit of a lottery — it depends on which floor and which side you're given, so ask for a high floor.
- The pool is indoors rather than a sea-view outdoor one, which is worth knowing if a poolside-by-the-beach scene is what you're after.
