When is the best time to visit Darwin?+
The dry season (May - Oct) has good weather, the sunset market is open and the parks are easy to visit. The wet season is hot, humid and floods some roads.
Can I swim in the sea at Darwin?+
Not recommended, due to saltwater crocodiles and box jellyfish. People swim in pools or the safe lagoon at the Waterfront.
Do I need to stay overnight at Kakadu?+
The park is huge and about 3 hours from the city, so we'd suggest at least 1-2 nights to fully see the waterfalls and rock art.
